Hello Friends! I am excited to share an app I have been waiting to launch in collaboration with Pannali Travels for some time. GPSmyCity is an app that gives you access to many of the cool places listed in your favorite blog posts, including integrated maps and GPS, at your fingertips. I am excited to use this app in my own travels, and to share with you what Iâve seen so far.

Travel City Guides with Built In Maps and GPS
Why An App?
Of course you can find incredible city guides on this blog and from other bloggers around the world. You must be wondering why you would need to download an app. As I see it there are three important benefits.
Reason one: all info in one place, with no risk of losing it.
Normally when I travel, I open different Google maps and blog posts to have all the activities ready on my phone. This not only takes more battery power, but I risk the posts closing, and losing the information so carefully loaded.

Reason two: convenience
On top of that, if you are in a country where your sim card doesnât work, you can have everything ready in the app in one place. You donât have to get hit with roaming charges or deal with fickle roaming. Weâve all been there and itâs not fun! It is like having a detailed guidebook loaded on your phone. Call me old school, but that is definitely helpful in a data-sim pinch!
Reason three: discover new activities and places!
This app specializes in city guides, which means you can discover new and interesting things to do from bloggers or travelers you have never heard of. Thereâs the old saying that there is strength in numbers. In this case, there is strength in the number of contributors giving the best inside tips on cities around the world.
For a few dollars, it seems worth it for the convenience and insider guides available. I plan to use it for future travels, starting with my trip to Berlin later this month!

Articles included in the app
You will be seeing more and more articles show up in the app from Pannali Travels in the next months. For now, you can find the following 9 articles with maps and GPS information. You will find the Pannali Travels blog posts, plus exact locations and guided maps for each of these articles:
Cascais: Jewel at the Gate of the Mediterranean
11 Things to Do in London on Your Own
Secret Guide to the 10 Best Chocolate Shops in Belgium
Interesting Things to Do in Roermond, Netherlands
7 Special Things to Do in Lhasa, Tibet
12 Special Things to Do in Washington DC
12 Cool (Mostly Free) Things to Do in San Diego
Iâm excited to have you check them out and let me know what you think!
App Giveaway
Just this week, you can check out several of the articles for free! For the first week of the launch of the Pannali Travels articles in the GPSmyCity app, you can get three of the guides for free. They are:
11 Things to Do in London on Your Own
7 Special Things to Do in Lhasa, Tibet
12 Cool (Mostly Free) Things to Do in San Diego
I recommend downloading the app and getting the guides this week. You can keep them as a reference for when you get a chance to visit these incredible cities.
After the week, you can purchase one city walk guide in the app for $4.99, which is reasonable considering the cost of a walking tour, or even a snack on the tour. You can also purchase a year subscription for $12.99 for all city walking guides. This comes out to just over $1 a month, and certainly pays for itself if you even use 3 city guides in a year.
Not only do you get exotic locations like London or Lhasa, but you can check out city guides for cities near your home and find new hidden treasures close to home!

Final thoughts
Discovering new apps to make life easier without breaking the bank can seriously enrich your travel experience. I love that this reasonably-priced app has so many city guides available. I definitely recommend downloading my three city guides that are free this week â and please let me know what you think. Whether you plan to travel a lot this year, or just want to discover new activities in your nearest city, this app is a great resource.
Cheers!
Kimberly
