Hi everyone! Although I’ve had an about me page up since I launched the blog last September, I’ve gotten more questions, and I thought it would be good to answer them all in one place. I will also link this post to the about me page. I love hearing from you and getting your questions – please keep them coming!

What do you do?
In addition to blogging, I offer life coaching services. Until recently, I worked almost exclusively with women in developing countries, but because of my belief in universal human themes, I am expanding to online coaching. I’m also about to graduate with my MBA (yeah!) and will be looking into building more businesses.
Do you travel all the time?
No. Honestly, I think it would be too much for me. I typically travel for four to five months out of the year. I am so grateful for all the opportunities for travel I get, but it is also nice to be home sometimes!
Are you married?
No, I am single, which is why I am also passionate about helping other single women travel the world and experience all it has to offer.
Do you have children?
No, but I love children. I am the proud auntie to many little and not-so-little ones.
Why did you move to Europe?
I moved to Europe to be with my spiritual teacher and guide. It was one of those once in a lifetime opportunities that worked out. After I was here, I was given opportunities to start working with women. I love Europe and now it feels like home.
What do you miss most about living in the USA?
The giant grocery stores of organic packaged foods are always a big lure. I miss being able to pick up all kinds of “healthy junk food”. I also miss the friends and family I don’t get to see very often. And of course, they come before the food.
How often do you go back to the USA?
Recently I’ve gone back to the USA about once per year. I love it there and feel there is so much more to explore. Right now, my post of “12 cool things to do in San Diego”, inspired by my visit there is January, is the number one post on the blog.
What do you like to do?
I’m not sure how to answer this. You mean other than travel and spirituality? I love to learn and to explore; to connect with people deeply, and also love to be alone walking in the forest or riding my bike.
It is magical to connect with new friends and also stay connected to friends all over the world! I love mountains and oceans, rivers, valleys, and big open fields!
Best life advice for someone wanting to try spiritual travel?
Just go for it! Go for what I would call the real deal: some ancient spiritual place that still attracts millions of people for its spiritual power. Sit there quietly and meditate. Don’t be overwhelmed by the noise and the chaos; take it in and look to really experience the heart of the place.
Why spiritual travel?
Spiritual travel is about connecting with something higher than yourself. There are hundreds or thousands of blogs to tell you the 10 best things to do in one city or another. I want to get beyond that and get into the essence of who we are as human beings. I want to reach into what you are craving.
Best travel tips?
You can see some of my best travel tips here. If you are looking for ways to book inexpensive flights, you can find them here. Tips for traveling in India are here. Why spiritual travel is important is here.
Favorite place in the world?
My favorite place in the world is wherever I am right now; wherever my family is; and wherever there are opportunities to make life better. There are so many beautiful places to visit the ocean, or climb mountains, or visit temples, but the old saying, “home is where the heart is” means that my favorite place is – wherever my heart is!
